A Dutch tanker has been refloated after being aground for six days in the St Lawrence River in Canada.
WWNY TV cited the St Lawrence Seaway Management Corp as confirming the 17,100-dwt Chem Norma (built 2009) had been freed on Sunday.
It docked for an inspection. If given the all-clear, it would continue its journey to Sarnia in Ontario.
The ship, operated by ASM Maritime, ran aground on Tuesday near Morrisburg.
