The Russian region of Arkhangelsk has started bidding to buy two ferries.
The ice-class ships will costs around RUB 480m ($8.42m), the Kommersant daily reported.
They have to be at least 27 metres in length, with a weight of at least 100 gt and a capacity for 170 or more people.
Delivery is intended for this year.
The contract provides for instalment payments within two years.
