Dutch shipyard Royal IHC has said Indian group Adani has ordered two 8,000-cbm trailing suction hopper dredgers (TSHDs).
It said the vessels can maintain a constant speed while dredging, leading to higher average production results.
Adani will use the ships at its domestic ports.
No price was given for the vessels, but UK broker Clarksons said they will be delivered in January 2018.
