US President Donald Trump has signalled that he could deliver a reprieve on tariffs that have affected vehicle trade and represent headwinds for the car carrier sector.
Although the temporary pause he floated was limited, it suggested cracks in his hard stance on the tariffs just days after the US announced exemptions for consumer technology.
Earlier this month, the administration imposed 25% tariffs on foreign-made vehicles and parts.
