South Africa has said it will continue to accept all types of approved scrubbers at least until the end of the current year.
A study into the impact of open loop system wash water discharge on the marine environment has been delayed by the Covid-19 outbreak.
South Africa had commissioned the study from the local South African University with the expectation to have it completed by the end of the second quarter of 2020.
