Nordic ministers have called on Europe and their own governments to simplify and strengthen support for green fuel production.
They argued that reliance on China and the US, which are able to produce cheaper green biofuels, methanol, hydrogen and ammonia, is a security risk.
“We are challenged by the lack of green fuels,” Danish minister for industry Morten Bodskov told an audience of shipping executives in Copenhagen on Tuesday.
