A week of climate talks at the International Maritime Organization has ended with a stalemate continuing on an economic regulation to reduce carbon emissions.
That is according to delegates who spoke to TradeWinds outside the closed-door discussions, which will likely continue in new equally secretive working groups next week during the meeting of the Organization’s Marine Environment Protection Committee over a so-called market-based measure to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
