Protection for seafarers from attacks, the threat of jail and discrimination remain top of the agenda for the International Maritime Organization in 2025, its chief said on Thursday.
After a year of attacks on shipping and crew seizures by the Houthi group in Yemen, IMO secretary general Arsenio Dominguez said that security and safety for crew needed to be improved on ships.
