It is offering the tanker in three versions. The basic configuration uses conventional HFO fuel, an environmental version cleans exhaust emissions using a scrubber and selective catalyst reduction, and the green model has dual-fuel engines using LNG.
The design features an optimised hull form to minimise resistance, and a propulsion train with energy saving devices for greater efficiency - and can also be adapted for ice class notation, according to the Wartsila Ship Design unit of the Finnish power plant building group.
