Sanctions against Russia have created uncertainty among shipping agencies who claim that they are receiving very little guidance from governments and port authorities on what sort of business activities they may undertake involving ships with Russian links.
Agencies tell TradeWinds they have had no choice but to err on the side of caution and turn away business from any ship that has even the slightest connection to Russia.
