Cargo operations at the ports of Haifa, Ashdod, and Eilat have been hit by an open ended pay dispute called by Histadrut, the Israeli trade union federation.
Histadrut has called a general strike of port workers in support of a claim for a 5% wage increase for those who did not benefit from an earlier round of public sector pay rises.
