DFDS is looking to get busier in the Baltic and North Sea as it splashes out on a ro-ro terminal company in Sweden.
The Niels Smedegaard-led ferry company is getting a 25-year concession on two terminals in Gothenburg after sealing a deal along with C.Ports SA.
DFDS and C.Ports have between them spent SEK 48m ($) on buying Alvsborg Ro/Ro AB which operates terminals in Alvsborg and Arendal, Gothenburg.
