A French tanker is safe after a hijacking incident off West Africa, but there is no word on its crew.
SEA-tankers said the 15,300–dwt Adour (built 2003) was freed on Monday night in the Bight of Benin.
It was in ballast when contact was lost on 13 June.
The company is making no further comment at the moment.
Local authorities said the vessel was sailing off Lome, Togo, when it was boarded.
