GMZ Ship Management’s 480 lane-m Marzooqah (built 1976) was snatched in the Red Sea last night.
Andrew Mwangura, a piracy expert, told Reuters a gang of eight or nine pirates stormed the ship.
He estimates there are still five gunmen on board the Marzooqah, which escaped an attack in 2011.
