“This drop islikely due to the increased and active naval actions on suspected skiffs, navalland based anti-piracy operations, preventative measures used by the merchant vessels in the form of BMP procedures, theemployment of private contracted armed security personnel and the effects ofthe SW monsoon,” the IMB report said.
