Ships owned by Scorpio Bulkers, Torm and Alpha Bulkers were all targeted by teams of robbers off Indonesia last month, TradeWinds has learnt.
Just after 03:30 on 4 May Scorpio Bulkers' 84,900-dwt SBI Rumba (built 2015) was boarded by perpetrators off the Balikpapan Inner Anchorage, Indonesia.
Reports say the robber stole ship stores and property from the Marshall islands-flagged vessel while it was underway before escaping.
