The IMB Piracy Reporting Centre reports that on Monday two robbers armed with guns boarded a bulk carrier that was anchored off Cotonou in the West African nation of Benin. They entered the master’s cabin stole, stole the ships cash, and escaped in a fast small wooden boat. There were no injuries to crew.
On the same day seven robbers armed with knives boarded a bulk carrier at anchor off the Indonesian port of Dumai.
