The men were seized on 3 January from the 250–gt ro-ro San Miguel (built 1976) off EquatorialGuinea.
Nigerian state security services (SSS) said on Saturday: "On30 January 2014, this service in collaboration with the military rescued threeIndians. No ransom was paid for their release."
Five pirates were held in the raid.
