Local media reported the Nigerian Agip Company (NOAC) vesselwas attacked along the Nembe waterway in Bayelsa state on Saturday evening.
The captain and engineer were seized by seven gunmen in aspeedboat.
The tug was delivering fuel from Port Harcourt to Brass.
There were six crew on the Agip ship. Possessions andvaluable were also taken.
