Lieutenant commander of operations AdmiralSiyavash Jarreh said on Sunday that warships from the 30th fleet rescued the Indianvessel from seven boats, according to the FNA news agency.
He named the ship as Jok Jok, but no suchvessel exists in maritime databases.
Jarreh said the tanker was not damaged inthe attack and it safely headed towards its destination.
