Iran's navy has repelled a tanker attack in the Bab-el-Mandeb strait.
The Tehran Times said 12 boats carrying 115 armed men had approached the unnamed Iranian vessel.
As they prepared to attack, they were forced to fleet by the Martyr Naqdi destroyer.
The warship escorted the tanker to safety.
