Greek shipowner Victor Restis has taken legal action over £37m ($47m) he says he is owed by the co-owner of Newcastle United Football Club for a loan made 15 years ago.
Restis started a claim last month over the contested debt to try to push London-based entrepreneur Amanda Staveley into bankruptcy and wind up her company PCP Capital Partners, court filings show.
