Andy Symonds, the Baltic Exchange’s former Singapore-based senior freight manager, has joined RightShip as its head of Asia Pacific.
The safety and ESG-focused digital platform will continue to be based in Singapore, tasked with “working to promote RightShip’s zero-harm message throughout the region”.
Bring with him over 12 years of experience working in the maritime and commodities sectors at companies such as Jaldhi Overseas, Berge Bulk, Trafigura and Morgan Stanley, Symonds described RightShip as “a company which sits at the interchange between commercial drivers and operational excellence”.
