A double-ship christening in the port of Hamburg proved a highlight of the John T Essberger group’s centenary anniversary celebrations.
The historic German shipping company, which bears its founder’s name, was established on 21 June 1924.
That event was commemorated 100 years later last Friday with a double-naming ceremony for two of the company’s chemical tankers.
