Danish towage company Svitzer has brought in a new chief operating officer from parent AP Moller-Maersk.
Ingrid Uppelschoten Snelderwaard will take on the role from 1 December. She will replace Leonardo Sonzio, who will become Maersk's head of fleet operations.
Uppelschoten Snelderwaard is global head of equipment and a vice president at Maersk.
She holds a degree in economics and languages from Hogeschool Zeeland, and a degree in business management from Nyenrode University, in the Netherlands.
