The Kuok Group, Maersk Singapore and Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement are among several Singapore maritime heavyweights that are offering traineeships for more than 200 graduates facing a job shortage due to Covid-19.
These traineeships are being offered in a range of areas covering commercial, operations, engineering, ICT and corporate job functions.
“Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, maritime companies in Singapore have come together to provide job opportunities for Singapore citizens and permanent residents entering the workforce,” said the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), which is leading the initiative.
