Taiwanese Shih Wei Navigation’s founder, Lan Jun De, has resigned as chairman of the company due to health issues, to be replaced by his daughter.
The Taipei-listed bulker company has appointed general manager Irene Lan Shin-Chyi as the new chairwoman.
A graduate from National Taiwan Ocean University, Irene Lan worked in a shipping company in Denmark for two years upon graduation.
