Aurora LPG has appointed Aage Figenschou as its new chief executive, replacing Nikolai Jebsen.
This move follows the takeover of the Oslo-listed company by BW LPG, which now owns more than 96%.
But Figenschou explained to TradeWinds his role would be temporary and he would only help during the transitional period.
The shipping veteran added the plan is to leave Aurora after two to four months and he will not be involved in the company afterwards.
