Somebody at the Singapore branch of the Mission to Seafarers has a lot of clout upstairs.
Torrential rains had been lashing Singapore throughout last week, but as the seafarers’ charity annual fundraising cruise set sail on Thursday, the skies cleared, the rains ceased and the four-masted sailing ship Royal Albatross set off across waters tinted orange by the setting sun.
