Viking Cruises is branding its liquid hydrogen (LH2) vessel concept as “a ship without compromises” where luxury, safety and sustainability go hand in hand, according to project manager Serge Fossati.
Using LH2 as the fuel is cleaner and provides a smoother, quieter voyage with less noise pollution and vibration.
Fossati says the philosophy of the project is clean air and minimal impact on marine life.
