Energy major Total has sealed a deal with France’s Brittany Ferries to supply LNG as a fuel to the ferry company’s recently ordered 1,680-passenger newbuilding for the Portsmouth-Caen route from 2019.
Speaking at the IQPC LNG Bunkering Summit 2017 in Amsterdam, Total Marine Fuels managing director Olivier Jouny announced that the two companies have agreed to finalise the contract, without giving further details of the arrangement.
