The Danish government is considering selling its 50% stake in Danske Faerger (Danish Ferries), the passengership company it owns with Clipper Group.
A spokesperson for the ministry of transport, building and housing told TradeWinds the possibility was being examined.
"A prospective future buyer will have to respect existing agreements, including agreements on service of current ferry crossings, thus ferry services will not be affected by a potential sale."
