South Korea is planning a fund to boost the domestic cruiseship industry.
At least KRW 100bn ($83.3m) will be on offer to help bring in overseas tourists, oceans and fisheries minister Kim Young-suk said.
One aim is to help start-up Korea Cruise Line buy a ship costing KRW 200bn.
The company was launched in late 2015, but has not yet been able to begin full operations.
