Monaco-based owner Silversea Cruises has returned to Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri for a third newbuilding.
The "ultra-luxury" Silver Dawn will cost more than EUR 320m ($381m), with delivery scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2021.
It will be a sistership to Silversea’s flagship, the 41,000-gt Silver Muse, which was launched from Fincantieri's Sestri Ponente yard in Genoa last April.
The new order follows just months from the signing of a contract for a second vessel in the series, Silver Moon.
