New Zealand owner Sealink has signed up for two new car ferries at Tasmania's Richardson Devine yard.
Brokers said the 1,000-gt, 80-pax units are due in December 2019 and January 2021.
No prices were given.
The owner has one other vessel in operation - a 485-gt ferry built in 2014.
