Three passengers on a Princess Cruises ship were charged with drug smuggling after Australian authorities seized 95 kilograms of cocaine on the vessel.

The drugs are reportedly valued at AUD 31m ($23m).

The bust came after Australian Border Forces (ABF) boarded the 2,000-berth Sea Princess (built 1998) Sunday and searched a number of passenger cabins using detector dogs. The cocaine was found packed in suitcases.
