Hermann Klein has been appointed Carnival Maritime's new managing director, starting 1 September.
He is currently managing director and group chief operating officer of CPO Holding (Offen Group) in Hamburg, Germany. He will succeed Lars Ljoen, who will join Carnival Cruise Lines in Miami, US, as head of marine operations.
Carnival Maritime is the Hamburg-based marine service unit for Costa Group with its brands AIDA Cruises, Costa Cruises, and Costa Asia.
