Croatian shipbuilder Brodosplit has sealed a new order for a polar expedition cruiseship.
The yard said it had secured the deal for the 10,000-gt vessel against strong international competition after “months of negotiations and a series of technical innovative solutions offered.”
It said the client was a “leading company for commercial tourism in the polar regions.”
Broker Clarksons identified the owner as Oceanwide of the Netherlands, which already operates four small vessels.
