Australian group Austal has won a second ferry contract for its Chinese joint venture yard.
The company said Aulong Shipbuilding will design and build a 35-metre high-speed catamaran for Chinese mainland ferry operator Blue Sea Jet.
The vessel is worth AUD 5.6m ($4.45m).
The aluminium ship will carry up to 260 passengers at speeds of more than 26 knots.
The yard is starting work on a first ferry for Blue Sea later this month.
