A World Wide Supply-owned offshore vessel has departed Brazil, leaving just one of the Norwegian company’s vessels left operating in the country.
The 3,300-dwt World Emerald (built 2013) is in the Atlantic bound for Las Palmas in the Canary Islands, according to satellite tracking data from VesselsValue.
The departure of the platform supply vessel (PSV) follows the end of a 60-day extension granted by authorities after the ship was “blocked” from its term contract with oil giant Petrobras by rules that give preference to Brazilian-flag tonnage.
