Chief executive Kenneth Walland is quitting Ostensjo Rederi after 27 years to focus full-time on the Edda Wind spin-off.
Walland, a master mariner who joined offshore vessel specialist Ostensjo in 1994, had been chief executive of both companies as the offshore wind vessel operation was built up over the past six years.
"Edda Wind is experiencing tremendous growth and is now forming its management organisation," Ostensjo said.
