Eni Norge has now taken the 220-tbp Njord Viking (built 2011) on a firm deal until the close of 2016, the owner said in a statement today.
Viking describes ENI Norge as a key client and placed the value of the extended contract at NOK 150m.
“The contract reflects the area of operation and the significant harsh environment competence obtained by Viking Supply Ships over several years, as well as the high specifications of the vessel,” Viking said.
