Bouchard Transportation recently kicked up its heels, honouring a century in service to the tunes of Chicago, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame-inducted band.
The privately held tug and barge owner hosted 400 guests at a 100th anniversary celebration at New York City's Cipriani 42nd Street, remembering its founding by Frederick Bouchard.
Morton Bouchard III, his great-grandson and the company's chief executive, shared the company's history, from when it bought its first oil barge for $100 in 1931 to present ownership of 26 barges and 25 tugboats.
