Lars Rolner’s new heavylift company has won a commercial management contract for a newly delivered vessel owned by India’s J.M. Baxi Group.
United Heavy Lift (UHL) has added the 7,175-gt deck carrier Vir Varenya (built 2016) to its fleet and will manage the ship from its head office in Hamburg.
Rolner, who founded UHL in April 2015, said: “The deck carrier suits us perfectly, as with our fleet, we offer a comprehensive range of options for the various niches in the heavylift market.”
