Ultra Deep Solutions says it is considering building a new deepwater pipe lay/ flex lay vessel adding to its alrerady extensive newbuilding program.
The Singapore-based company has said it has gone into “exploring the cost” of the DP3-rated 3,800 msw vessel, which will be capable for “S” lay and “J” lay.
Ultra Deep Solutions says the vessel will be built for an unnamed end client who is looking also said to be looking at the “hybrid” market.
