Kim Heng Offshore & Marine Holdings' two shipyards in Singapore are relatively quiet places today, but the company still regards them as vital components to its business model.
Chief executive and controlling shareholder Thomas Tan claims they are needed to offer customers a full service package.
“The key to success in offshore is infrastructure, so shipyards are very valuable assets," he says.
