Singapore’s Swiber Offshore says it has referred a dispute related to an oil and gas platform project in India to arbitration.
Sime Darby Engineering (SDE), Swiber’s partner in the project, named the counter party as India’s state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC).
The SDE-Swiber consortium was awarded a $618.4m contract for the wellhead platform project in western India by ONGC in 2010.
