The SGX-quoted subsea specialist will lease an additional 1.2hectares from Jurong Town Council that includes an extra 92 metres ofwaterfront.
Chief executive Francis Wong said the lease, which runsuntil 2021, will allow it to expand the facility at Tuas Crescent to meet its risingdemand for in‐house auxiliary shipyard services.
“This is also testament to Swiber’s commitment to its ownstrategic plans in the offshore marine and construction business and is in linewith its overall strategy to be a world class integrated construction andsupport services provider to the offshore oil and gas industry,” Wong added.
