Svitzer has clinched a multi-million contract to provide towage services in Morocco for the next 20 years.
The Maersk-controlled entity has secured a 20-year concession for the port of Tanger Med 2, which is operated by Maersk’s APM Terminals.
Last year, APM Terminals announced its plans to invest more than $860m in the Moroccan port, the second busiest container hub in Africa.
