McDermott International said lower utilisation of its subsea vessel fleet is expected to contribute to lower margins next year.
The Houston offshore engineering company revealed the outlook as it reported lower utilisation for its offshore and subsea vessel fleet in the third quarter, which still saw McDermott boost its bottom-line profit to $16.1m from $3.7m in the same period of last year.
